Dr. Toral Pandya’s passion for dentistry is based on transforming someone’s life. For her, it is not just about fixing teeth but really getting to know her patients and their life and what’s important to them. With that knowledge she then works to provide each and every patient with what they need and want.
For example, for someone who dreams of being an actor she would help them with options for cosmetic treatment. She talks to teenagers about maintaining their oral health and preventing disease in order to maintain their overall health. For someone older, she helps them preserve the teeth they have and replace what they have lost while also treating and preventing any disease.
Dr. Pandya graduated as a dentist in 2004. She then spent time as a tutor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Government Dental College and Hospital, Ahmedabad, India. This job involved teaching, working with patients, and collaborating with the Oral Surgery residents. It gave her the opportunity to observe some of the best Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons in India performing surgery.
In 2012 she earned her DDS degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA.
She has achieved the following awards and honors:
- Placed first in the college in Community Dentistry in her final year of Dental School
- Elected to the TKO Honor Society at the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry, which recognizes scholarship and leadership among students
- Awarded the IDS Dixon scholarship, one of the only scholarships available to international dental students in the USA.
